Responsibilities
- Lead and administer procurement processes including RFX's and non-competitive processes from start through completion for goods, services and capital equipment based on customer requirements and specifications

- In conjunction business/operational stakeholders, conduct risk assessment as needed and provide management with input on risks and mitigations
- Manages contract expirations in a timely manner
- Enters data into the procurement systems and maintains accurate records
- Maintains effective communications with both internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee and monitor established business and performance quality indicators in assigned work
- Supports continuous improvement of processes and outcome

- Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field e.g. business, supply chain, commerce or economics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in a public procurement role, including demonstrated contract management and contract negotiation experience
- Recent Strategic Sourcing and/or Public Purchasing experience in a healthcare environment is an asset
- Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or Public Procurement Designation is an asset
- Experience in administering terms and conditions of purchase orders and formal contracts is required.
- Requires knowledge and experience in materials provisioning, negotiation and an understanding of business and legal issues
