Role Overview We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to enable efficient and effective collaboration across development, operations, and quality assurance teams. In this role, you will design, build, and operate modern, scalable, and secure DevOps platforms and processes, with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps practices. You will play a key role across the full development lifecycle-from architectural design to deployment and operations-helping teams deliver reliable, high-quality software at scale. Primary Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure Operate and improve Kubernetes environments, including maintenance, monitoring, and performance Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code to enable consistent and automated deployments Manage application deployment processes and templates Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including reusable components across projects Configure and maintain cloud services Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the development lifecycle Support projects during development, testing, and release phases Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and performance Contribute to deployment strategies and recovery planning Ensure infrastructure follows security and architectural standards Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes (EKS) in production Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines , ideally GitLab CI Familiarity with Helm and Git-based deployment workflows Solid understanding of DevOps practices and the software delivery lifecycle Very good skills in English (writing and speaking) Good-to-Have Skills Experience with Kubernetes RBAC, service accounts, and resource-based access control Strong understanding of AWS IAM roles and policies, especially Kubernetes integrations (e.g., IRSA) Familiarity with GitOps tools and practices, particularly ArgoCD Knowledge of networking concepts in cloud and containerized environments Experience integrating services across cloud-native architectures German skills (writing and speaking) We are a stable, people-oriented large company with an international background We provide 4 days home office a week You can work in a dynamic environment where your innovative ideas are always welcome We provide you with a wide range of further training and career opportunities We provide you with the tools you need to work (laptop, extra monitor, headset) * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
