Estimator II

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets contract documents relating to the assigned major divisions.
• Prepares accurate quantity surveys and pricing summaries.
• Reviews estimate/sub quote files to gain information for current bids.
• Solicits subcontractor/vendor pricing information.
• Prepares spreadsheets and coordinates with estimating bid team members for bid day.
• Logs and files bid documentation after bid day for estimate/sub quote file.
• Attends pre-bid conferences and site visits.
• Negotiates and writes subcontracts and purchase agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Working Conditions - Full time, Office setting, Occasional travel required
• Reporting Structure - Chief Estimator, Senior Estimator
• What We Expect
• Education / Experience -
• Minimum high school diploma/GED and seven years of construction-related experience required.
• Four-year degree in related field and six to seven years of construction- related experience preferred.
• Current clearance, or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.
• While the salary range is typically between $69,875 - $93,200 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants in order to make attractive and competitive offers.
