About the role
As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in Practical Law, you will use your specialist legal knowledge of, and experience in, antitrust law and practice to create and maintain a wide range of content and to support the development of Thomson Reuters AI-powered legal solutions. Keep up to date with legal, practice and market developments to ensure content remains accurate, relevant and aligned with business objectives. Use your legal expertise to support the development of customer-focused Thomson Reuters' AI-powered legal solutions. Use your legal expertise and editorial skills to help develop and apply internal AI editorial tools. Develop and maintain relationships with lawyers and industry groups to ensure content reflects current market practice. Use your specialist legal knowledge to assist the wider Thomson Reuters team, working with product management, sales, marketing, and technology functions where necessary. About You You're a fit for the role if you are a a Juris Doctor with a current license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction and have: At least 8 years' experience of working as an antitrust lawyer in a law firm or in-house in the US. Extensive experience advising on Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act filings, HSR exemptions, and premerger notification practice. Experience advising on gun-jumping issues, clean team arrangements, and antitrust risk-shifting provisions in M&A transactions. Familiarity with the Practical Law What's Market database or similar deal intelligence resources. Strong writing skills, and a passion for writing about legal practice accurately, concisely and in plain English. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively independently and in teams. Strong technical skills and the ability to effectively utilize various tools, including AI technologies, to enhance productivity and accuracy. Adaptability and flexibility to work on diverse projects and tasks within the AI space as well as new and emerging technologies. A curious mindset, including about the increasing intersection of AI and legal practice, adaptable and open to change.
