Responsibilities
- Define and drive the global IT Sales & Marketing vision and strategy aligned with Sulzer's commercial excellence priorities .
- Deliver together with your team some of the most critical IT initiatives and transformation programs, directly enabling our business sales teams to execute their growth strategy and accelerate revenue generation.
- Drive and successfully steer the consolidation, harmonization, and modernization of the global CRM landscape, including the full migration to Salesforce to significantly enhance sales excellence and performance.
- Lead the modernization of CPQ capabilities to accelerate and improve order conversion processes, while leveraging digital marketing and next-generation e-commerce platforms to unlock new revenue streams and sustainably boost sales growth.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Marketing, Product Management, and divisional b usiness p artners to shape roadmaps and prioritize business demand.
- Ensure alignment of technology solutions with commercial & marketing strategy, user experience goals, and data integrity standards.
- Foster collaboration and a high-performance culture within the Sales Excellence IT team
- I dentifying with your frameworks the areas for improvement, consolidation, and standardization.
- Develop further a high-performance team : L ead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional, multicultural team of >10 IT professionals across several geographies , to continuously ensure successful implementation s and lifecycle of sales applications.
- Manage external vendors and system integrators to deliver projects and support services in line with budget and quality expectations.
- Own and evolve Sulzer's global Sales IT application landscape including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) tools, and engineering design tools for product selection and configuration.
- Oversee system governance, user access, data security, and compliance with corporate IT and data privacy policies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies driving innovation across all Sulzer divisions . This may include implementing new tools or technologies, upgrading existing systems, or exploring new solutions to more generate business value.
- To succeed you need:
- >15 years
- Experienced with Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, Tendering, Pricing, Product Configuration tools etc.
- High level of English
- Strong understanding of business sales, ma rketing and tendering processes and how technology can enable and accelerate revenue growth .
- Strong C-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire international and multi- cultural teams.
- Proven experience in developing and executing a global strategy for Sales applications.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent business English language skills
