Responsibilities
- Laboratory Preparation & Support
- Prepare, set up, and distribute laboratory equipment, chemicals, and other materials for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

- Track consumables and replace items as needed to prevent shortages during lessons.
- Technical Support
- Provide technical assistance to teachers and students on the correct and safe use of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in the preparation and testing of new experiments or demonstrations.
- Keep up to date with developments in science education technology and laboratory techniques.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of equipment use, breakages, and chemical logs.
- Support with the organisation and logistics of science events, competitions, or exhibitions.
- Assist in the setup of practical exam stations for internal and external assessments (e.g. IGCSE, IB, A-Levels, etc.).
- General Contribution to School Life
- Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to improve lab operations and teaching support.
- Support the science department in developing instructional materials and displays.
- Participate in school-wide safety drills, staff meetings, and training sessions as required.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or equivalent).
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within a school or educational institution.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g. IB, Cambridge IGCSE, A-Levels) is an advantage.
- Certification in laboratory safety or first aid (preferred but not essential).
- Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and science equipment.
