Responsibilities

  • Experience with common metal forming, heat treating, and joining processes, including plating and coating technologies.
  • Understand critical-to-quality process parameters.
  • Experience with the instruments used in qualification testing and their resulting data; for example: SEM, XRF, microscopy, environmental and mechanical testing.

Job Description We are looking for a Materials Engineer to be part of the Chemistry & Materials Engineering group. You will support the selection, modification, improvement, and troubleshooting of different fabrication processes used in industrial products, including metal and polymer. You will become a technical subject matter expert, defining critical requirements for new processes and collaborating with engineers and scientists to evaluate material properties and ensure process integrity. You will be a liaison between our manufacturing plants and the analytical lab to use lab results to aid production. You will report to our Senior Manager, Chemistry & Materials and Product Performance Testing.
