Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical owner of a product line within operations division throughout the product lifecycle (from NPI to volume production).
  • Work closely with the industrial and supplier engineering teams to evaluate and qualify components, ensuring they meet technical, quality, and cost requirements. Analyze component suitability and integration into the overall system architecture.
  • Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) to optimize cost, quality, and uptime.
  • Upscaling, running AI initiatives for optimization
  • Support prototype builds , system integration during NPI phase.
  • Support continuous improvement and design enhancements in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing divisions
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation , including Change Management via engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Stay current with semiconductor industry trends , competitive technologies, and emerging process requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
  • Profound experience in product development within the semiconductor equipment or high-tech capital equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, metrology).
  • Experience with vacuum systems , robotics , high voltage management , or precision motion control is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
  • Knowledge in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX), PLM systems , LEAN methods , SAP knowledge is an added advantage
