Responsibilities
- Overall areas of responsibilities and activities
- Lead mechanical design and development Li-ion and LIS battery and related components for Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Electric Vehicles (EV), and other advanced applications

- Support prototype development, design verification, and validation activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, processes, and engineering best practices
Requirements
- Educational background and previous experience required for the role
- Qualifications and Experience
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in power electronics, high-performance lithium-ion batteries, or related industries
- Strong experience in lithium-ion battery cell development and secondary battery technologies is highly preferred
- Proven hands-on experience in mechanical component design, evaluation, and validation
- Extensive experience with advanced CAD tools such as NX, CATIA, or equivalent 3D modeling software
- Experience with electrode and cell design, electrode preparation processes, cell fabrication, and electrochemical performance evaluation is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of risk management in cell/battery development and production environments
- Demonstrated experience leading technical discussions directly with customers
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Specific skills
- Advanced proficiency in CAD tools (NX, CATIA, or similar) for mechanical part design and evaluation
- Strong technical documentation and drawing review capability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight project deadlines
