As a Class 2 Driver you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day! This is a full time, permanent role you will be working 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over a 8-week rota or Monday-Friday with start times between 05:00 - 05:30 . Extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives accessible to all employees Pension scheme Driver Awards and Recognition What you will do on a typical day: Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes and providing a first-class customer service experience Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects What you need to succeed at GXO: This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
