About the role

- Maintain and regularly update media databases and journalist contact lists.
- Coordinate internal approvals and ensure the timely dissemination of communications materials.
- Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets, including journalists across news, lifestyle, tourism, and business sectors.
- Support proactive media outreach and pitching to secure relevant coverage opportunities.
- Coordinate media attendance at events, press briefings, and destination activations.
- Assist in managing media visits, media tours, and journalist familiarisation programmes.
- Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and monitor media coverage across print, online, and broadcast platforms.
- Prepare daily monitoring updates, weekly coverage summaries, and campaign reports.
- Assist in producing post-event and campaign coverage reports, including insights and performance highlights.
- Maintain organised archives of media coverage and reporting materials.
- Account & Campaign Support
- Support the team in delivering integrated communications campaigns and activations.
- Assist in preparing client updates, presentations, and reporting materials.
- Coordinate timelines and support the implementation of PR activities and events.
- Contribute to content development and ensure high standards across all communications outputs.
Requirements
