Job Description Summary As a Senior Materials and Fulfillment Manager, you will lead the planning and availability of military spare parts to meet customer demand, with a focus on inventory optimization, operational coordination, and SQDC performance. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lead military spares material planning activities, collaborating with procurement, sourcing, logistics, and quality teams to ensure material availability in line with customer demand and prevent shortages or excesses by managing escalation activities Coordinate Long Range Forecast, Budget, and Quarterly Forecast activities of the Plant COEs regarding: Shop Cost Output, Delinquency, Inventory, Turns, and Aged WIP Monitor and Analyze KPIs related to Shop Cost Output, Delinquency, Inventory, Turns, and Aged WIP by preparing accurate weekly reports, highlighting any deviations from targets, and implementing the necessary gap recovery plans, in collaboration with the COEs Lead continuous improvement initiatives, in collaboration with the COEs and HQ, to optimize inventory levels, material flow, lead times, and minimize obsolescence, using lean methodologies such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri Coordinate annual physical inventory process at plant level, in collaboration with the Finance function Lead and actively participate in daily management meetings and Genba walks Develop, coach, and lead the materials team, setting measurable goals to evaluate success and promote continuous improvement, while fostering a culture aligned with GE Aerospace Behaviors Ensure compliance with company procedures, ensuring the accuracy of system data and the correct parameterization of materials Accelerate Connected flow through the use of GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating system to achieve the company's future Inventory and flow objectives Qualifications/Requirements Master's Degree in STEM subjects including Economics Proven significant experience in material planning, supply chain, logistics, or operations roles Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, inventory optimization, and operational transformation Demonstrated experience managing business performance through KPIs and forecasting Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken Proficient in computer Skills, MS Office package, SAP Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Strong analytical and data-driven decision skills Strong interpersonal and soft leadership skills: communication, time management, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability Proven problem-solving capability with a structured and rigorous approach Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Strong project management skills Commitment to Respect for People, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Driven execution in day-to-day leadership
