Key job responsibilities - Own the overall customer experience strategy for your category, setting strategic goals - Lead the selection strategy and execution for your category - Work alongside partner teams across the organization to ensure we deliver against key category goals and milestones. - Establish and grow vendor relationships; partner with vendors to deliver improvements in customer experience and hold vendors accountable for operational performance - Own the Trade Planning Strategy to drive category growth A day in the life - Be the 'business owner' for your category, working autonomously and possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your category - Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines - Create a compelling category CX that raises the bar and drives customer engagement - Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to hit key inputs and ouputs - Provide input for your category regarding promotional activity, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecasting
