About the role

As a Fulfillment Technician at Covetrus, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing high-quality veterinary medications and ensuring the safety and health of animals. Under a licensed pharmacist's supervision, and in accordance with standard departmental procedures, the Pharmacy Technician will dispense stock compounds and commercial medications for animal consumption. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Able to perform the basic functions - picking & dispensing in certain pods and working towards meeting hourly rate. Maintain daily cleaning and disposal documentation. Completion of Qualityze trainings monthly. Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of compound & commercial orders.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Arizona
  • No experience required
  • CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Minimum of Pharmacy Technician Trainee License
  • COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
  • Perform basic math - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement correctly.
  • Learn and efficiently use our computer software.
  • Pay attention to details and retain information readily.
  • Communicate verbally in a professional manner with co-workers and other contacts.
  • Work effectively as a team player.
  • Exhibit punctuality and low absenteeism.
