Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, chemistry, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Biopharma industry, with a minimum of 10 years at Associate Director level or above.
• Experience in start-up/ rare disease products is a plus.
• Commercial product launch experience including artwork, packaging operations and transportation/distribution.
• Strong strategic planning skills with a strong interest in developing team and individuals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Good level of spoken and written English.

Summary of Position: The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for building, implementing, and managing the commercial supply chain for Scholar Rock in Japan. The role will oversee daily operations relating to artwork, secondary packaging and distribution activities and will work closely with Scholar Rock colleagues globally, primarily in the US and Ireland. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure products are reliably and compliantly supplied across Japan.
