Responsibilities
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems
- Install and commission control systems and plant equipment
- Diagnose issues across PLCs, VFDs, and turbine control systems
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

- What You Bring (Required)
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology OR Journeyman-level experience (5+ years)
- Hands-on experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and one-lines
- Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and control systems
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience safely using electrical test equipment (voltmeters, ammeters, etc.)
- Technical Requirements
- Electrical:
- Motor control troubleshooting and schematic reading
- Experience with transformers, grounding systems, and ≤5kV switchgear
- Knowledge of arc flash safety and high-voltage PPE
- VFD diagnostics and maintenance
- Instrumentation:
- Experience with pressure, flow, level, and temperature devices
- Knowledge of control valves, actuators, and control loops
- Analyzers (preferred but valuable):
- Familiarity with gas analyzers (O₂, H₂, GC, moisture, pH)
- Basic understanding of sample conditioning systems
- Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in hot/cold outdoor environments
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Availability for outage schedules (including extended 12-hour shifts)
- Ability to respond to plant and emergency situations
Requirements
- Power generation or turbine experience (industrial or military)
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens (e.g., Studio 5000), or similar systems
- HMI experience
- The starting pay is $35.28/hour ; with opportunity to rise after successful completion of required trainings and certifications.
