HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping)

About the role

MRK Transportation Ltd is a family-run logistics company established in 2018. As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll ensure freight is delivered safely and on time. You'll be a key part of our operation, helping maintain our strong reputation for reliability and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive 44-tonne articulated vehicles safely
• Deliver goods on time across multiple locations
• Carry out pre-trip vehicle checks
• Keep accurate delivery and maintenance records
• Follow road laws and company policies
• Communicate with logistics teams and clients
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence (max 6 points, no DD/DR/IN)
• Driver CPC / DQC card (valid, no suspension)
• Good understanding of tachograph & driver hours rules
• Minimum 12 months UK driving experience (preferred)
• Right to work in the UK
• Basic English for safety communication
• Strong commitment to safety standards
