About the role
Assemble and configure Hitachi Vantara storage systems and servers based on customer requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage, server configuration, or data center operations.
- Experience working with Hitachi Vantara storage systems or equivalent enterprise storage platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAN and NAS technologies, storage concepts, and infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of network switch configuration and support, preferably Cisco and Extreme Networks.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and system-level issues in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with RMA handling, inventory management, and asset tracking processes.
- Ability to follow technical procedures, build documentation, and quality control standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting system integration, testing, or deployment activities is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, or virtualization environments is preferred.
- Exposure to scripting, automation, or infrastructure management tools is an added advantage.
