Responsibilities

  • Lead internal communications for major business transformation programmes (e.g business organisational change, digitalisation, RIIO-2 delivery, network investment programmes)
  • Create change journeys, messaging frameworks and engagement plans that build understanding, confidence and adoption across technical and non‑technical teams
  • Support leaders in depots and operational teams to cascade key information consistently and effectively
  • Employee Messaging & Channels Management
  • Own the internal channel ecosystem (intranet, email, Yammer/Viva Engage, digital screens, operational cascade, field communications)
  • Ensure content is accurate, timely, accessible and tailored to different colleague groups (office‑based, field engineers, control room, leadership teams)
  • Develop editorial and content calendars aligned with business rhythms, milestones and operating plans
