Responsibilities

- Closely align with the Infrastructure Program Management Sub-function to ensure coordinated planning for all venue design and delivery milestones and deliverables including procurement and cost
- Problem solve and negotiate with stakeholders to get the best outcomes
- Background & Requirements:
- Minimum 7-years of relevant industry in event overlay design and temporary infrastructure delivery. Preferred working knowledge of California Building Code requirements
- Previous experience in event operations, logistics, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Event Management, or related field or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
- Expectations:
- Willingness to occasionally visit venues and work on-site as needed.
- Familiarity with temporary infrastructure projects
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships

Sr. Manager, Venue Infrastructure Delivery The VNI (Venue Infrastructure) team plays a critical role in delivering competition and non-competition venues that are functional, innovative, and accessible for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of the larger Sport & Games Delivery group, the VNI team ensures that all venues are designed and developed with the highest standards for functionality, sustainability, and inclusion. As Sr. Manager of Venue Infrastructure Delivery, the role leads the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of a key Games-time venue. You will manage a team of 3-4 staff members alongside external partners and contractors. Initially, you will coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and consultants to finalize Olympic and Paralympic venue designs. You will then transition to leading on-site execution, construction, and delivery.
