The Learning Strategies Center (LSC) is the central academic support unit for all undergraduates at Cornell University. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for department-level human resources, including managing student employment and academic and professional staff searches, and will be instrumental in the academic staff reappointment process.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise graduate and undergraduate student employees.
  • Be in charge of event planning and implementation and program and facility scheduling, and preparation of internal and external department communications and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from all undergraduate colleges, as well as colleagues from a variety of programs and departments both on campus and external to Cornell .
  • Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in business administration, data management, or related field with 2 - 4 years of full-time support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

The Learning Strategies Center (LSC) is seeking an Administrative Manager. Hiring budget for this position is $66,764/annual, there is no negotiation. This is a full time, 40 hour/week, on campus position (within daily commuting distance from Ithaca, NY). Some hybrid activities are possible, but the employee will be expected to be on campus regularly and frequently . In general, you will work on campus during normal business hours, though along with the rest of the leadership team you can expect to work some occasional evenings and weekends and do some occasional remote work. Fully remote work is not available for this position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation is not available for this position.
