- To meet the requirements for the employment as an associate professor, the applicant:
- must have demonstrated a research profile showing a clear progress after the completion of the doctoral thesis, and scientific contributions corresponding to at least two doctoral theses including the doctoral thesis;
- must have experience of supervising doctoral students and must have been the assistant supervisor for at least one doctoral student for at least two years, unless there are exceptional reasons to the contrary;
- must demonstrate pedagogical expertise through proven experience, teaching expertise and teaching development
- must have completed higher education pedagogy courses equivalent to 7.5 higher education credits or otherwise have acquired equivalent knowledge;
- must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the wider community by means of, among other things, making new knowledge available to the wider community; incorporation of societal needs into educational and/or research contexts.
