Job Overview Location : Hougang Street 51 Employment Type : Contract 20 July 2026 to 31 December 2027 Working Hours : Mondays to Fridays, 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM (Inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break Rest Days : Off on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, and official school holidays Roles & Responsibilities 1. Student Engagement & Development Design structured programmes to teach emotional regulation and positive behavior. Deliver individual mentoring alongside targeted small-group guidance sessions. Build trusting relationships with primary school students to foster personal growth. 2. Behaviour & Emotional Support Identify behavioral triggers and build effective intervention strategies. Reinforce positive habits through direct coaching and active role-modeling. Support classroom integration by helping students apply coping skills live. 3. Collaboration & Reporting Align support plans directly with teachers, Year Heads, and school leaders. Track student progress using systematically agreed-upon indicators. Maintain detailed documentation tracking all interventions and session outcomes. Job Requirements Minimal Qualifications Relevant Diploma/Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or Education. Prior school experience managing student well-being or behavioral support. Strong communication skills to build rapport with children and collaborate with staff.
