As a (Junior) Security Architect, you will be designing security architectures, leading technical discussions with various stakeholders, and translating messy business problems into workable security solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of (cloud) security principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be involved in projects to design, establish, implement, improve and enhance the (Cloud) Security Architectures for leading organizations across industries. Project scope can span over strategic architecture design, security domain expertise across cloud, cloud transformation, DevSecOps, data security, network security, identity, and security operations. Your role will focus mainly on designing, supporting and managing the enterprise-wide (cloud) security architecture, performing assessment, advising customers on best practices approaches and solutions to protect their information assets. You won't be working alone - you will collaborate with our global and local teams of cyber professionals, who bring a balanced mix of technical, legal, and business expertise to support you. What You'll Actually Do: Contribute to, or lead client projects by developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions and controls tailored to address our clients' challenges Support clients during their cloud transformation initiatives, making sure that all technical security risks are correctly identified, mitigated and reported. This may lead to also integrating the new cloud infrastructure in the overarching security architecture and strategy Design high-level and detailed security architectures aligned with business objectives and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) across multiple security domains Develop blueprints and artefacts for key security controls and capabilities across the organization and specify functional and non-functional security requirements and technical specifications to ensure mitigation of risks and compliance with key regulations Assist clients in evaluating security technologies, aligning tooling with roadmaps, and translating security controls into architecture patterns and designs Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Build and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders and clients by collaborating closely to understand their business needs and ensuring all engagements meet the highest quality standards Support proposal development, including responding to RFPs and contributing to business development activities related to potential projects and engagements Why Deloitte? 🟢Deloitte employs 35,000+ dedicated cyber practitioners worldwide.
