Additional Information

ACCOUNTABILITIES Academic Support Deliver and/or facilitate modules in subject areas such as Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, Digital Media, Social Media Marketing or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates with experience in digital transformation projects or the use of AI tools in teaching and learning will be an advantage. Coordinate with Heads of Programme, Module Leaders, and academic teams on lesson planning, assessments, moderation, and grading processes. Monitor student engagement and academic performance, provide timely feedback, advisement, and progression counselling to support learner success. Academic Quality Assurance Uphold SIM academic policies and quality standards to ensure consistency, fairness, and rigour in teaching, assessment, and grading practices. Participate in academic reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of programmes, ensuring alignment with evolving industry trends, emerging technologies, including AI, and future workforce skill requirements. Administrative Collaboration Liaise with internal departments to support effective delivery of teaching, learning, and assessment operations. Contribute to programme-related documentation, academic reporting, and institutional compliance as required. Course Design and Development Design, update, and contextualise course materials for face-to-face, blended, and online delivery formats. Integrate applied knowledge, real-world case studies, and interdisciplinary themes (e.g. digital transformation, sustainability, UX communication) to maintain industry relevance and learner engagement. Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to ensure curricular innovation and practical relevance. Faculty Learning and Development Create and share teaching resources, templates, and good practices to enhance instructional quality across the academic team. Contribute to pedagogical innovation through faculty learning communities, workshops, onboarding programmes, and academic development events. Provide peer support and consultation on learner-centred teaching strategies, digital and AI-enabled teaching tools, assessment design, and emerging educational practices. JOB REQUIREMENTS Academic Education A Master's degree in Business Transformation, Analytics, Communication, Media Studies, Marketing or a closely related discipline is required. A Doctoral degree will be an advantage, depending on the subject area.
