The Social Programmer is responsible for the daily programming and curation of B/R College Football's social platforms. This role will assist in content discovery, caption writing, content packaging, publishing, and real-time coverage of the college football landscape, while helping grow and engage one of the largest digital college football communities. The perfect fit lives and breathes CFB. Your Role Accountabilities... Help run the day-to-day programming of B/R College Football's social platforms, including content packaging, publishing, and tentpole planning around the college football calendar. Assist in leading real-time coverage of major college football moments, including College Football Saturday's , conference championships, C FP Playoff , recruiting storylines, and breaking news. Identify, clip, package, and publish content in real-time across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and emerging social platforms. Executing social content strategy, including content selection, storytelling, and platform-specific optimization. Work closely with the National Programming team and portfolio brands to identify content opportunities that should be amplified across B/R . Collaborate with internal teams including design, editorial, Hero, storytelling , and ta lent to execute original content initiatives. Support other B/R Sports portfolio brands as needed, with flexibility to cover additional sports and major events throughout the year. This role will require nights, weekends, and holiday coverage throughout the college football season. Qualifications & Experiences... 1-3+ years of experience in digital media, social media, content programming, or content curation. Extensive knowledge of college football, CFB athletes, college football culture, and the broader sports landscape. Deep understanding of major social platforms, audience growth strategies, platform best practices, and emerging trends. Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X preferred. Strong editorial instincts and content identification skills, with the ability to quickly recognize and package stories that will resonate with fans. Experience working in fast-paced, live-event environments and making real-time editorial decisions. Familiarity with social publishing and video clipping . Strong written communication skills, including c opy writing, headline writing, and content packaging. Understanding of Bleacher Report's voice, audience, and internet sports culture. Previous experience in sports media, social media, editorial, or content creation is preferred. Proficiency with video editing tools, including CapCut, InShot, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
