Graduate Digital Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated graduate to join our Digital Design Team . In this role, you will work closely with and be mentored by Senior Engineers , gaining hands‑on experience in the design and verification of cryptographic algorithms and secure digital systems . Graduates joining the team will benefit from a structured training programme and technical mentoring , designed to support your development and enable you to be successful in this role and beyond.

Responsibilities

• The responsibilities of this exciting and varied role include:
• Writing Verilog code to describe digital circuits
• Simulating digital designs using state‑of‑the‑art EDA tools
• Synthesising designs using industry‑standard tools and optimising for area, power, and performance
• Writing SystemVerilog testbenches to verify functionality
• Working closely with senior team members throughout the full design and verification flow
• And more, as you grow and develop within the team
• Required qualifications and experience
• Successful candidates will have:
• A Master's or Honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• An interest in, and basic understanding of, IC digital design
• Preferably some understanding of microcontroller architecture and fundamental IC design concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• A pro‑active, motivated attitude with a willingness to learn
