About the role

The CMAC is a unique forum for users of financial statements, which include analysts, investors and ratings agencies. CMAC members serve as volunteers who engage directly with IASB members and technical staff to assist in shaping IFRS Accounting Standards to ensure that companies provide investors with useful information. Membership on the CMAC does not constitute employment with the IFRS Foundation. The CMAC has as many as 20 members with extensive practical experience in analysing financial information. CMAC members are drawn from varied industry backgrounds. They speak for themselves-and represent the views of their affiliations only if they explicitly say so. Selection is based on the merits of their professional competence as users of financial reports and their ability to represent capital market participants' views. Member benefits As a CMAC member, you will have the opportunity to: influence the development of IFRS Accounting Standards; gain up-to-date knowledge of regulations that affect how investors analyse the financial statements; build networks with investment professionals from around the world; and interact with IASB members and technical staff. Meeting with the IASB The CMAC meets with IASB representatives during its one-day meetings, which take place three times a year at the IASB's offices in London, UK. Members can attend either in-person or virtually. Terms of appointment Successful candidates become members from 1 January 2026 202 7 for a term of three years, which may be renewed for a further three-year term. Membership on the CMAC is a voluntary role that does not constitute employment with the IFRS Foundation. Apply Please apply below with your CV/Resume and cover letter.
