Duties And Responsibilities Report and drive improvement within the site through the monitoring of the key Industrial Engineering metrics, leveraging automated dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL-based reporting) to provide real-time visibility into performance Develop, analyze, and maintain accurate department forecast based on both historical and forecast data, incorporating financial modeling, scenario analysis, and volume-driven cost projections Support BDA by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement through the organization, including the standardization and automation of recurring reports and data pipelines Work with the facility operations and corporate teams on the definition and delivery of reports and operational queries as needed to support the business Support and/or maintain all Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities, including time studies, labor planning, and productivity analysis Maintain and continuously improve existing engineered labor standards while developing and implementing new standards based on time studies, operational data, and evolving process requirements to drive productivity and accuracy Standardize the configuration of the systems used (e.g., Manhattan SCALE, Oracle EBS, IBM Cognos (SCI), Exacta Sentinel, LMS, ADP), while improving reporting consistency and usability across platforms Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering succession plan for the site Develop and maintain site key process flow charts, incorporating current-state and future-state process mapping to support continuous improvement initiatives Partner with site and corporate leadership to develop, update, and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment between operational performance, volume trends, and financial targets. Job Skills And Traits Strong business acumen; particularly in order fulfillment, inventory control and/or distribution, with the ability to connect operational performance to financial impact Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (i.e. work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.), with a strong emphasis on applying these tools through data and reporting systems Strong financial and analytical ability, including experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost modeling Ability to learn and become proficient as a Super User level with new software systems, Fulfillment/Distribution applications and processes, including reporting and analytics platforms Coach and mentor the BDA team on Key Metrics, KPI's, and control tools, with an emphasis on building data literacy and self-service reporting capabilities Advanced proficiency with Excel/Power BI/Smartsheet, including complex formulas, Power Query, data modeling, and automation of recurring reporting processes Knowledge of demand forecasting, total cost analysis, and supply chain management fundamentals, with practical application in financial and operational planning Strong process improvement skills, Six Sigma mindset, and demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders 5+ years of cumulative Industrial Engineering experience in production, manufacturing, fulfillment, or distribution environments Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements and cost reduction programs Previous systems implements/testing experience, including data validation and reporting alignment New building startup and multiple building campus experience Experience with Manhatta
