About the role
Support and deputize for the Cost Control Manager across all cost control activities. Lead and coordinate a team of cost controllers responsible for Owner's Costs. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, commitment tracking, change management, and cash flow projections. Consolidate monthly and Life-of-Project (LOP) cost reports. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. 10+ years' experience in cost control, project controls, finance, or cost engineering within major Oil & Gas projects. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, change management, and project cost control methodologies. Solid understanding of financial accounting within Joint Venture environments. Advanced SAP user experience and strong Excel skills. Experience working on large-scale capital projects and international stakeholder environments. Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English required; French and/or Portuguese would be advantageous. Location: Maputo, Resident Starting date: August 2026 Duration: 1 year, renewable
