Mechanical Technician

About the role

We're looking for a Technical Specialist with a mechanical focus to own machine troubleshooting, spare parts maintenance, preventive maintenance, and investigation of quality-related issues and customer complaints on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines to meet production output, quality, and waste targets
• Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, servicing, component replacement)
• Troubleshoot machines, tools, and equipment failures to meet production targets, safety, and quality standards
• Perform product/machine changeovers - tool/die changes and machine set-up
• Initiate and implement machine enhancement and project assignments
• Author Standard Work Instructions for assigned operations and processes
• Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Train and coach Technicians and new hires on machine operations and adjustments
• Support Engineers and SMEs on Continuous Improvement activities

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma holders
• 2-5 years' hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in mechanical aspects
• A good team player with the ability to work across cultures
• Shift Commitment
• Permanent Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 12-hour rotation (3/4/4/3 pattern)
