Responsibilities

  • What You Bring to the Role
  • We are seeking a passionate culinary professional with the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a banquet or restaurant culinary environment
  • Culinary Arts diploma or certification (considered an asset)
  • Valid Food Safe certification (required)
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence, creativity, and guest service
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required
  • Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or ladders
  • Visa Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
