Estimator - Commercial Printing

Requirements

• Strong math, computer and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope.
• Positive "can do" customer focus and attitude.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all printing processes, paper, ink, computer operation and purchasing
• Complete ability to calculate the quality of paper, ink, plates and the time required to complete each job.
• Excellent customer service skills and follow-through ability.
• Strong competencies with Adobe Creative Suites, Photoshop, Excel, Word, or ability to learn required software technologies.
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
• Experience using several different substrates and printing processes.

Additional Information

A print estimator's job is to estimate the cost of printing jobs and provide bids. The ideal individual will be an integral part of customer service and print workflow, has an awareness of unrelated activities and must be able to interact and successfully complete projects with pressmen, customers and salesmen. #ZR
