Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage short- and medium-term production plans and daily/weekly schedules, optimising sequencing to minimise downtime, changeovers, and waste while responding to real-time disruptions.
- Demand, Supply & Inventory Coordination: Align production with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets by monitoring raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, while managing shelf-life and avoiding excess or obsolete stock.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & S&OP: Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service, contributing planning inputs to S&OP and providing clear production updates.

- Systems & Planning Transformation: Support the transition from Excel-based planning to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central by designing, testing, and embedding automated planning, MRP, and scheduling processes.
- What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 2-5+ years' experience in production planning and/or scheduling within manufacturing or FMCG
- Experience across both spreadsheet-based planning and ERP-driven environments
- Practical experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Pronto, or similar)
- High proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic production environment
- Clear and confident communicator across shopfloor and office-based teams
- Organised, disciplined, and able to re-plan quickly under pressure
