WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including test engineers, product innovators, developers, and lab and factory partners. You'll help teams understand product attributes and performance to advance innovation at Nike. Providing technical input to the Product Innovation, Technical Design, Development, Materials, and Product Management teams will be key in this role. Primarily based at PHK Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, you will collaborate with various teams across Nike and will also spend time in our Accessories Innovation Lab. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a candidate with experience and strong proficiency in working on physical product design, development, and/or engineering. The ideal Innovator II will be highly motivated and have interest in building, creating, and developing new types of products and new ways to create products that enable athletes to perform at their highest potential. This position requires a combination of expertise with prototyping, testing, understanding testing and athlete feedback to advance a project. This person uses effective communication to deliver critical insights throughout the product design and development process. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Product Creation, Development, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training 1-2 years of directly relevant experience Strong time management skills with ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities Ability to take on ambiguous projects, iterate, and progress with limited supervision Knowledge of sporting goods construction, tooling, pattern engineering, and manufacturing processes (preferred) Experience with prototyping and testing, with strong creative problem-solving skills Ability to read technical drawings and work with digital tools (CAD/CAM, MS Office, Miro, etc.), along with strong written and verbal communication
