SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Senior Technician is responsible for providing hardware and software support in the manufacturing operations. This position will enforce Corporate Information Technology (IT) system administration, Local Area Network (LAN) administration, change management, asset management, security, technical standards, IT policy, procedure and best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide support for information and manufacturing system operations activities, including computer and network operations, troubleshooting, data control/security, documentation, software version control, backup/recovery, and system performance. Assist with hardware/software and application specifications and selection. Understand the hardware, software and applications from a users' standpoint to ensure proper problem resolution. Monitor system performance, perform system checks, and develop/enforce procedures established for system use. Enforce Corporate Information Technology (IT) system administration, Local Area Network (LAN) administration, change management, asset management, security, technical standards, IT policy, procedure and best practices. Audit and report non-compliance and remediation plans. Assist in the development of, maintenance, and implementation of training programs for plant IT support associates. Ensure users are using system properly to maintain data integrity, security and recoverability. Assist in Project Management tasks. Participate in Operational Technology problem reporting, project planning and corporate communication sessions. Work with vendors to troubleshoot and correct issues with 3rd party systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, fix, and perform root cause identification for plant floor production systems. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required Associate degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 3 years of experience OR 5+ years of progressively responsible IT or Manufacturing experience George's is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
