Maintenance Technician II South Bend, Indiana 2nd Shift: 2:00p- 10:30p Rate of Pay: $30.72 The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. This role diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, executes repairs, and supports continuous improvement. The position collaborates across teams to meet production, safety, and quality targets. Primary Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per CMMS work orders Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Repair or replace components to restore equipment uptime Document work completed, parts used, and downtime causes Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions Support equipment installations and process improvements Follow safety procedures, LOTO, and environmental standards Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and housekeeping standards Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing Proficiency reading schematics and using test equipment Ability to lift 50 lbs and work varied shifts Work authorization to legally work without sponsorship Preferred Requirements Associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field 5+ years experience with PLCs, motors, and conveyors Certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, electrical or mechanical) Experience with CMMS and continuous improvement methods (Lean/5S) Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $30.72. In addition to your salary, H.B.
