About the role

Responsible primarily for Sales in Singapore. This involves PROSPECTING and CONVERTING customers, NEGOTIATING CONTRACTS and DEVELOPING LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS with the customer. Job Responsibilities - Engage and develop relationships with new leads and existing customers by understanding their business model, activities, needs and requirements - Create sales opportunities by proposing products and solutions to customers, including introducing new products and businesses - Drive customer satisfaction, in conjunction with other departments, by ensuring on-time delivery of products and solutions and following up post-sales - Achieve sales targets and ensure sustainable margin - Prepare technical proposals for client engineering team - Collaborate with Product Principals for technical training and issue resolution - Preparation of internal sales reports - Collaborate with Technical team to provide on-site assistance to customers - Support overseas affiliates by ensuring that commercial & technical terms are followed as per commercial contracts Requirement : - At least 3 years of experience with factory automation and engineering industry - Strong understanding of business: able to relate to users' pain points and to propose solutions Preference : - Prior experience with machine vision, Auto-ID or Microscopy products an added advantage - Effective communication and people skills - Excellent troubleshooting skills
