The ideal candidate will pitch smart stories and tell them in way that is both creative and engaging. Most stories will be same-day turns, while other times you'll be given more time to execute your vision. You can expect to work solo many days, although there are ample opportunities to work with a photographer, especially on breaking news. We are also looking for someone who is excited about the future of local news. We are looking for a candidate who embraces the digital future of our industry and can show examples of strong work on digital, streaming and social media platforms. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position represented by SAG-AFTRA. The position may include weekend shifts.
