About the role
Metrologic DCS, part of the Sandvik Group, is a recognized global leader in 3D industrial metrology and quality intelligence. We design innovative software solutions and services that enable manufacturers to master inspection and manufacturing challenges and accelerate their digital transformation. Our solutions help customers improve product quality, increase efficiency, and drive productivity across global production environments, while reducing quality-related costs and enhancing overall performance What are we offering? Contract type : Permanent Number of positions available : 1 Desired start date: As soon as possible Salary: Between €55,000 and €65,000 gross annually Location: Montbonnot-Saint-Martin (38) Lead the Engine Room of a Software Organization in Transformation Metrologic DCS is not standing still. We are working on the major innovation, actively scaling our R&D organization, maturing our engineering practices, and building the delivery infrastructure needed to compete and win in a fast-moving global market. Our software shapes how the world's most demanding manufacturers - in aerospace, automotive, and precision industries - measure, verify, and control quality. Getting that software to customers, reliably and at pace, is mission critical. This is where this role comes in. As Delivery Manager, you won't just oversee our complex landscape of the projects and their timelines. You will be a change agent at the heart of our development organization - transforming how we plan, execute, and continuously improve delivery across a complex, multi-team, multi-product environment. You will build the practices, the culture, and the people that turn our product ambitions into shipped, customer-ready software. If you thrive at the intersection of structure and agility, if you know how to lead transformation without losing people along the way, and if you want your work to have a measurable impact on a growing international organization - this role was built for you. What You Will Drive Delivery Transformation & Planning Own the translation of product roadmap into a coherent, realistic, and synchronized delivery plan supporting the team in translation of the functional requirements into technical requirements- bridging the world of Product Management and R&D Project Management Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent strategic projects, maintaining visibility on timelines, budgets, scope, and quality Identify and actively manage inter-project dependencies and systemic delivery risks before they become blockers Introduce and embed delivery practices that scale - frameworks that work today and grow with the organization Cross-Team Synchronization & Stakeholder Leadership Design and facilitate synchronization rituals that work -Planning, Steering Committees, cross-team reviews - making alignment a habit, not a meeting Serve as the connective tissue between Product Management, and engineering teams - orchestrate, help to collaborate and communicate Ensure radical transparency on progress, risks, priorities, and delivery health - no surprises, no comfortable silences - alignment on progress, not on explanations Continuous Improvement & Organizational Learning Define, track, and report the KPIs that matter - delivery predictability, flow efficiency, team agility maturity, quality at release Diagnose delivery bottlenecks not just as process problems, but as organizational signals - and drive systemic improvements, not workarounds Champion a learning organization mindset: create the conditions where retrospectives lead to real change, experimentation is encouraged, and failure generates insight rather than blame Drive the evolution of our delivery model as the organization grows - from team-level agility to scaled, multi-site program execution People Development & Coaching Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Project Leaders and Scrum Masters - building capability, confidence, and career paths Define what great project management looks like at Metrologic, across both agile and hybrid delivery models - and make that standard visible and achievable Be the kind of leader people grow under: direct feedback, genuine investment, and the clarity to help people see what they're capable of Support the organization's shift toward greater agility - not as a methodology exercise, but as a genuine cultural transformation The Environment You Will Step Into This is a multinational, multi-site organization with engineering teams across Europe, USA, and India, collaborating daily across time zones, disciplines, and product lines. The complexity is real - and so is the opportunity. You will be operating at a moment of intentional growth: new team members joining, new practices being established, and a genuine organizational appetite for transformation.
