Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) who brings a passion for leading people and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays. Must be able to flex schedule to provide coverage when needed on first shift and to attend leadership-required meetings and trainings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead dental consumables manufacturing; drive quality, productivity, and employee engagement. Own production planning and execution to meet targets. Develop and implement cross-functional strategies to improve on-time delivery and reduce inventory. Manage team schedules, assess staffing capacity, and recommend solutions. Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team. Monitor performance and provide continuous feedback; hold regular individuals meetings. Conduct annual and mid-year performance evaluations. Support talent development and retention through effective training programs and skill gap mitigation. Conduct effective candidate interviews and hire qualified talent aligned to business needs. Manage departmental KPIs; track, analyze, and present performance data. Lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify risks, escalate issues, and propose solutions. Monitor capacity and address impacts on KPIs. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company, safety, and HR policies. Champion safety; conduct audits and coordinate training with EH&S. Partner cross-functionally (Quality, Engineering, R&D, EH&S). Participate in leadership and compliance training. Support Envista Business System (EBS) continuous improvement efforts. Travel up to 10% domestically. Job Requirements: Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associates degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience required in a highly regulated environment; medical device industry experience highly preferred. Experience must include performing transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably Oracle. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience required. Experience supporting continuous improvement events (i.e. Kaizens, Root Cause Analysis) required. Six Sigma certification is highly preferred. Skills and Abilities: Solid business acumen including good understanding of cost, productivity, efficiency, Strong analytical and mathematical skills and ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics to support business decisions required. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis), Word, and Outlook required. Ability to quickly learn and effectively use business systems and enterprise platforms required. Clear, professional English verbal and written communication skills and ability to present data, analysis, and recommendations to varied audiences required. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to hold teams accountable are required. Ability to build effective relationships and handle challenging situations with tact, confidence, and sound judgment required Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills required. Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in fast-paced, results-driven environments required.
