Location: 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York New York Job Summary KeyBanc Capital Markets is a leading corporate and investment bank offering capital markets and advisory solutions across a range of dynamic industries. The Managing Director will be responsible for sourcing, pitching, and executing Merger & Acquisition (M&A) transactions; as well as other investment banking products. This role requires strong client management, business development, and deal execution capabilities across various transaction types including sell-sides, buy-sides, corporate divestitures, capital raises, and fairness opinions. For this role, the banker should have coverage experience in one or more the following subverticals: Heavy Machinery Motion and/or Flow Control Capital Equipment Industrial Technology Essential Functions Responsible for revenue generation through the origination, execution and closing of M&A transactions. Establish Trusted Advisor relationship with important corporate and private equity clients to drive increased M&A advisory wallet share and a consistent revenue stream Build new relationships through thoughtful and targeted business development activities. Identify prospects and pull in the appropriate team and resources to drive new client growth Provide technical and developmental support to junior and mid-level bankers on deal team Work with team members to promote other lines of business with referrals Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key. Education Bachelor's Degree or higher in finance, business, or a related field is required or equivalent experience (preferred) Work Experience 10+ years of experience in investment banking or capital markets (required) Knowledge, relationships and revenue generation in the sector of Diversified Manufacturing Demonstrated success in client relationship management and deal execution.
