Holiday Club & Wraparound Care Manager - Permanent Full-Time (BA15)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Holiday Club & Wraparound Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our childcare provision in Bradford-on-Avon. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality childcare in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the holiday club and wraparound care provision
• Lead, manage, and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
• Plan and deliver engaging activities and programmes
• Manage rotas and staffing to ensure appropriate ratios are maintained
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff
• Handle queries, feedback, and any concerns professionally
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
• Monitor budgets and manage resources effectively
• Maintain high standards across all aspects of the provision

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above) - essential
• Proven experience in a childcare, club, or similar leadership role
• Strong team leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work under pressure
• A proactive, positive, and child-focused approach
• This role would particularly suit candidates with a primary school teaching or similar childcare background
