Job Description General Summary: The Trade and Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for supporting key trade operations activities across product returns, distribution management, regulatory request processing, and quality documentation. This role partners cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, Government Pricing, Trade Account Management, Quality, and external distribution partners to ensure compliant, efficient, and accurate execution of trade and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with experience managing third-party logistics providers, supporting regulated distribution processes, and driving cross-functional resolution of trade-related issues. This role is expected to operate in an on-site or hybrid work model. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the reconciliation of product returns, partnering closely with Revenue Accounting, Government Pricing, and the Trade Account Team to ensure accuracy and timely resolution. Serve as Trade Ops. SME for global Order to Cash & ERP implementation initiative. Manage the processing of CREATES Act and Non-CREATES Act requests in accordance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and business requirements. Oversee Canadian 3PL management, including coordination with third-party logistics providers to support operational performance, issue resolution, and compliance expectations. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support GDP and GxP quality functions. Partner with the Trade Account Team to identify, investigate, and resolve product distribution issues affecting customers, partners, or internal stakeholders. Assist with annual product sales reporting, ensuring data is compiled, validated, and delivered accurately and on time. Support trade operations processes to ensure alignment with internal controls, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor operational workflows and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on trade and distribution operational matters. Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience in trade operations, distribution operations, supply chain, commercial operations, or pharmaceutical operations. Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or highly regulated environment. Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Accounting, Government Pricing, Trade, Quality, and external partners. Experience managing or supporting third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Knowledge of product returns reconciliation and operational issue resolution. Experience drafting and maintaining SOPs and controlled documentation. Familiarity with GDP and GxP quality requirements. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
