MBSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams (Systems, Software, Hardware, Test) to analyze and document process and tooling requirements. Identify workflow challenges and opportunities for improvement, integration, and automation.
• Define and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") engineering processes, including tool integration specifications and workflow automation designs.
• Pilot and validate tool integrations and automated workflows to meet efficiency, data integrity, and quality objectives.
• Deploy and support the integrated toolchain across engineering programs, addressing any workflow or integration issues. Provide training and documentation to ensure user adoption.
• Evaluate emerging tools, technologies (e.g., OSLC, APIs), and methodologies to advance MBSE and digital engineering capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital or systems engineering roles on large-scale development programs.
• Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle and digital engineering ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with SysML modeling tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody), requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS NG), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) for API integrations and automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing toolchain integrations using frameworks such as OSLC, REST APIs, and other data exchange standards.
• The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
