Responsibilities
- Communications and Outreach Develop materials and messages for congressional, executive, and facility audiences; ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with program status and capabilities.

- Reporting and Governance Support timely, compliant development of communication deliverables; maintain version control and audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure all communications align with federal standards, branding, accessibility, privacy, and security requirements.
- BA/BS degree.
- 8+ years of experience in public relations and strategic communications, including press releases, media requests, social media, and/or advertising across diverse organizations.
- Demonstrated experience producing communication products for high-visibility programs.
- Excellent writing, editing, and message development skills for executive and public audiences.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or similar federal healthcare/benefits organizations.
- Experience developing materials for congressional audiences and executive leadership.
- Familiarity with the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act and related pilot programs.
- Experience with stakeholder registries, approval workflows, and communications governance in federal settings.
- Work Schedule:
- Onsite at Federal Agency in Washington, DC
