As a tuition-driven institution, our main goal is to recruit students. The Enrollment Events and Marketing Coordinator's primary focus is the creation, design, and management of all on-campus recruitment events. Other duties include weekday presentations to prospective students and families (Info Sessions), hiring, scheduling, and overseeing the student admissions tour guide program, some administrative office work, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for the position will bring extreme attention to detail, a creative mind to develop new events, and a student-centric approach to their work. The right person for this job has a passion for working with students to grow and develop their skills and recognizing a campus job is part of their education experience. Some evening and weekend work is required. Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate and execute all on campus events for prospective students (50%) Open Houses Accepted Student Days ("Choose PSU") Special visits/tours Other events as they occur Planning for major events (Open House and ASD mainly) Reserve necessary spaces Work with PSU Dining for catering orders Communicate/schedule appropriate representation with faculty and staff members Manage set up, decorations, etc. Daily Info Sessions (40%) Present a 30-minute slide show, and coordinate admissions tour guides to execute tour (5%) Management, training, and scheduling of all student tour guides for daily campus tours, large scale events, and other events requested across campus. (5%) Work with supervisor on creation and deployment of recruitment materials for prospective students Office Administrative duties include (but not limited to) (5%): Assist Admissions operations with answering incoming phone calls Process payment requests for college fair registration fees Assist Admissions Operations with office supply ordering Very minor website editing for admissions pages USPS Mail Processing Support Assist with outbound USPS mailings, including preparing materials, stuffing envelopes, applying address labels, and affixing postage. Carry out additional clerical, logistical, and operational tasks. Report to and assist Associate Director for Enrollment Marketing, Communications, and Events Other Duties as assigned
