Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble, and dismantle tradeshow booths, displays, and fixtures according to design specifications
- Measure, cut, and install wood, laminate, and other materials with precision
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or setup instructions
- Ensure all structures are safe, secure, and aligned with event regulations
- Collaborate with setup, merchandising, and design teams to meet deadlines
- Perform on-site adjustments and repairs as needed during installation
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- Previous carpentry experience in trade shows, events, or construction required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or long shifts as needed
