The Bureau of Equitable Health Systems seeks to hire a Director, Strategic Projects to lead evaluation and scaling of equity-focused data initiatives across NYC REACH. Duties will include but not be limited to: Research, Analysis, and Evaluation: -Lead applied research and analytic activities related to primary care delivery, population health, emergency preparedness and health equity initiatives. -Lead evaluation plans, research questions, and performance measures to assess implementation processes and outcomes. -Review, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data; evaluate findings; and formulate evidence-informed recommendations. -Maintain records and prepare written reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to leadership, funders, and stakeholders. Project Management and Implementation Support: -Lead practice transformation and technical assistance projects with medical practices, community health centers, hospitals, and community-based organizations. -Develop and maintain project workplans, timelines, and documentation; monitor progress; and identify implemenation issues and risks. -Coordinate project activities with internal program staff and external partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables and alignment with related initiatives. Supervision, Training, and Knowledge Sharing: -Provide technical guidance and mentoring to facilitators and project staff engaged in research, evaluation, and practice transformation activities. -Supervise staff in matrixed project assignments, as directed. -Develop and deliver trainings, presentation and informational sessions for internal and external audiences. -Communicate technical information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats. Stakeholder Coordination: -Assist in the coordination of contracts and deliverables with external vendors supporting research, evaluation, or implementation activities. -Monitor vendor deliverables and support review of invoices and documentation. -Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support coordinated implementation efforts. Additional Duties: -Assist with the preparation of grant and funding application materials, including project descriptions and evaluation components. -Perform related duties as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS: A minimum of five (5) years of experience performing applied research, evaluation, quality improvement and leading programs in healthcare or public health settings. Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and evaluationg projects involving healthcare providers or community-based organizations. Strong analytic, writing, and presentation skills. Ability to exercise independint judgment while working collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
