About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Secretarial Senior Manager to head and manage the corporate secretarial function of our firm. The ideal candidate will oversee a portfolio of clients, manage client relation and development, ensure the department complies with the policies and overseeing the firm's corporate secretarial practice, ensuring quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory to clients. Responsibilities

  • Corporate Compliance & Advisory
  • Oversee and ensure clients' compliance of regulatory and statutory requirements under the Companies Act 1967, ACRA, and other relevant authorities.
  • Oversee the supervision of staff, review work perform by subordinates to ensure the compliance of the regulatory and statutory requirements under the Companies Act 1967.
  • Provides guidance to subordinates on the areas of the work involving judgement and complexity
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Manage a portfolio of local and international clients, acting as their key point of contact for corporate secretarial matters.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and practical advice to clients on regulatory changes and compliance implications.
  • Liaise with auditors, lawyers, tax advisors, and government agencies when required.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise, coach, and corporate secretarial team mentor.
  • Manage a full spectrum of corporate secretarial management and development of the department.
  • Work together with other team members, provide internal training and technical updates on regulatory and filing changes.
  • Foster open communication within the team and inspire collaboration through active engagement.
  • Process & Quality Improvement
  • Participate in providing input for implementation of efficient processes to enhance workflow, compliance monitoring, and record management.
  • Stay updated on legislative developments, corporate governance reforms, and ACRA guidelines.
  • Contribute to digital transformation and automation initiatives in corporate compliance management.

Requirements

  • ICSA qualification, ACIS, SAICSA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience in a professional services or corporate environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Good knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in BizFile+ and basic presentation skills (training will be provided).
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and client management skills.
  • CGI qualification (previous known as ICSA, UK), ACS member of CSIS or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience in a professional services or corporate environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
